 Recycled Things

At mooble we believe in reducing waste, and turning what waste is produced into useful products. It's all very well to recycle your waste, but if you don't close the loop and in turn buy things made from the reused or recycled product, we'll never actually cut down on our consumption levels.

New from old  - close the loop and buy recycled

Mooble has some unusual recycled products that make ideal gifts or that perfect eye catching conversation starter that is useful to boot. Our recycled products vary from season to season. One of the best things about recycled goods is that usually most items are unique.

At present, we stock:

Slingfings vintage fabric-wear
Slingfings creates funky new clothing from reclaimed vintage and retro fabrics - all handmade using solar power.
JUST TWO BAGS LEFT, AND THAT'S THE END OF SLINGFINGS, AS SHE NOW ONLY MAKES BIRD!

Cards and gift wrap
All the greeting and gift cards at mooble are from recycled paper, as we don't believe trees need to be cut down for us to send nice cards. We stock cards by Peter Dombrovskis, Earth Greetings, Judy Horacek, Eliza Tree, Bird, Studio Antic, Paperstreet and local photographer Sarah Porgyani. We also stock a range of children's stationery from Turtlegreen.

Trashbags
We stock shopping bags made by a women's cooperative in the Philippines from old juice tetrapacks. From Cambodia we have hook rugs made from t-shirt offcuts by a women's cooperative, and from India satchels made from old newspapers and fused with plastic to make them more durable.

Miscellaneous
- purses made in Melbourne from old Bonsoy containers - re-using at its best!
